A throw out deployment system is by far the most common setup for sport jumpers. If you are not sure which system to select, you likely want a throw out.

The three stow bags are an easy-to-pack main deployment bag that yield smooth, consistent deployments. Only available for canopies 150 sq. ft. and smaller.

Cut-in laterals are a time-tested, secure lateral that is lightweight, minimalistic, and comfortable.  The SLS laterals are a newer system that secures the edges of the container more firmly to your body, allowing the rig to move with you better through transitions, sit flying, and aggressive movements.
Note: SLS laterals may not fit for all container and body size combinations.

Type 17 is the most common selection for sport skydivers. Sun Path recommends Type 8 risers for container sizes J5K and up.

The Easy Grip Dive Loop is a stiffened loop on the front riser, which creates a “handle” perfect for swooping and advanced canopy piloting maneuvers. Our standard dive loops are an unstiffened loop of webbing, great for jumpers who either don’t need or don’t like the stiffened loop.

Most jumpers select “standard risers” for their containers. Low profile risers are made to reduce drag as much as possible for competitive canopy pilots, but they do not hold up as well as standard risers over time.
