Our Guidelines For Repairs
Before you send your harness/container system to Sun Path for repair, please read the following guidelines:
Note: If you have a return deadline date for your rig repair, please call and/or note this on the “Repair Form” to help us best meet your requirements
Requirements & Responsibilities
- Sun Path requires that all gear returned for repair is inspected. The inspection fee is $25.00. Sun Path will provide a price quote to repair any issues found during inspection.
- Your repair will not be completed without your consent. We will contact you with a complete quote via e-mail. It is your responsibility to inform the repair department that you approve the work to be completed and accept responsibility for payment.
- Sun Path products Inc. reserves the right to deem any harness/container system un-airworthy based on rig inspection as well as the right to hold any item returned for repair until it is brought current with all service bulletins.
Shipping Your Rig To Sun Path
- ONLY send us the Container and/or Component/s that you require repairs or alterations on. For instance, if you would like a Skyhook added to your free bag/bridle, please only ship the free bag itself to Sun Path. If you need a repair on your harness or container, please only send the container with emergency handles (no need to include main deployment bag, reserve pilot chute, etc.). If you have questions about which parts to ship to Sun Path, please contact us.
- ONLY ship additional equipment if you wish to have your system re-packed here by one of our Sun Path Certified Riggers once all necessary repairs have been completed. This will save you money in shipping cost and reduce the overall time needed to repair your rig.
- NOTE: We are a harness/container manufacture. We will only inspect canopies that are being repacked in our facility. (Unless otherwise directed by one of our Engineers or Repair Dept.)
- Cover all hook Velcro with pile Velcro before sending your rig to Sun Path to prevent damage to the rig.
Required Forms
- Please take a moment to complete and print a copy of our repair form and send it with your Container/Component/s.
- The more accurate and complete the form is, the faster we can get you jumping again! If your rig requests resizing, ensure to provide a current set of body measurements using our Measuring Guide. Also remember to keep a copy for your records, the repair form you send to us will not be returned with your rig.
- You will receive an email letter notifying you that your rig has arrived & being processed.
Payments & Return Shipping
- Your repaired rig will not be returned until payment is received. Payment Information is not required untill your rig is ready to ship. We will contact you via email for payment authorization once your rig is completed. Please actively check your email for emails from us (to include Junk Mail as it sometime ends up in there instead).
